Sovereign cloud and infrastructure
Algorithma
and Berget AI
Agentic AI on sovereign infrastructure, with a record of where every inference ran.

The joint offering
What we do together
Sovereignty is usually presented as a binary choice. Run everything on domestic infrastructure and accept a ceiling on capability, or use frontier models and produce a transfer impact assessment for every case. A routing policy removes the choice: sovereignty becomes a rule enforced on each individual call.
Residency and jurisdiction
Data residency describes where the data sits. Jurisdiction describes who can be compelled to produce it. The transfer impact assessment turns on jurisdiction.
Sovereignty as a routing policy
Classify the data, classify the task, and route on that basis. Deterministic work runs without a model. Bulk and reasoning work runs on open models on Berget AI infrastructure. Hard cases escalate only where the data classification permits.
Enforced before the call
The policy is a governed object with its own version history. An agent cannot route a restricted class to a tier that is not permitted. The call is never made, and the attempt is recorded.
A record of where every inference ran
AOS Control records the model, the operator, the jurisdiction and the retention posture for every call, and carries Berget's CO₂e tracking into the same record.
Who does what
Berget
- Provides the AI infrastructure and the open models, with all data staying within the EU
- Maintains the model catalogue and the operating posture the routing policy depends on
- Supplies the residency and CO₂e tracking the record carries
Algorithma
- Builds and operates the agents on AOS
- Designs and enforces the routing policy, and produces the evidence
- Integrates into the client's systems and runs it after go-live
The client
- Keeps the data classification
- Sets the rules about what may go where
Value realisation
Where the value is
Sovereignty you can evidence
A queryable record of where every inference ran, exportable for audit, procurement and the data protection officer.
Capability without the exposure
Open models run on Berget AI infrastructure for data that cannot leave the EU. Only cases the classification permits reach anything else.
No transfer assessment on the sovereign tiers
The sovereign tiers require no transfer impact assessment, and no Schrems II exposure to US cloud providers. In the public sector that assessment is often what holds the project up.
No lock-in to a model or a provider
The routing layer works across models. Changing supplier is a policy change, and the agents stay as they are.
The partner
About Berget AI
Berget AI is a Swedish AI infrastructure provider, founded in Stockholm in 2024. It provides inference and AI infrastructure for private and public sector organisations. All data stays within the EU, and the service is GDPR compliant.
Sovereign by construction
All data stays within the EU. Berget never stores prompts or outputs, and never trains on customer data.
Open models only
Built on open models and open weights, served through an OpenAI-compatible API.
Measured sustainability
100% fossil-free electricity, circular hardware, and CO₂e tracking.

In this partnership
Berget AI provides the infrastructure the models run on, and the model catalogue. It owns where the compute runs, and under whose law it runs.
